Love the countryside, particularly the beautiful shades of colours. The Standing Stones are an exceptional tourist attraction. I also love going to the Crofter's Cottage and the Strawberry Patch.

The external appearance looks dated, but the rooms themselves were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A microwave would have been handy. Reception was open till late, as opposed to the 5pm closing time on booking.com. Nothing flash, but good value for money .Good for a short stay.

Town has a lovely unpretentious gracious feel, beautiful old buildings and stately homes, friendly staff in shops, great pizza and a great fish and chips/takeaway in the main street. Friendly locals who smile and say hello!

Glen Innes is a very interesting town.
Glen Innes is a very interesting town. The information shop was extremely good.A visit to the Granite stones on the hill is well worth a visit. We spent
some time up there. The town is also interesting, with the variety of shops .and buildings.

The town is great and the locals are as well.
The town is great and the locals are as well. The motel is tired and our room lacked maintenance but was clean. We had issues with the shower getting the temperature correct (never) the A/C rattled the windows consistently, the noisy and dirty extraction fan and also missing a cover, the TV remote didn’t work and I couldn’t be bothered trying to get new batteries for it or reporting it. The electric blanket on the LH side worked but only on three, so you cooked. Eating out in town there was plenty of places. I will be more diligent with the ratings for future stays! 7.3 is too high.
Really central location in Glen Innes, a few mins walk to Coles or Woolies as well as to other shops. The apartments face a really lovely park, and it is very peaceful and quiet. The apartments were cosy and very clean. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Towels, and the usual toiletries you'd get in a hotel is also provided. I was pleasantly surprised that a complimentary bottle of wine was provided in each of the apartments (I booked three apartments for three families). It was a really pleasant stay.
Sapphire Cottage proved a great location for our stay in Glen Innes. Spacious, bright and airy with all you’d need for self-catering. Close to town with a relaxing outdoor area. Loved the wood burning stove and the roses in the large garden. Definitely a decided cut above all those bland country motels. We came to participate in The Goodness Gravel cycling event and will be hoping to stay at Sapphire Cottage again next year.
Beautiful old bank building converted into lovely guest house. Very comfy and spacious. Open fireplace in the shared lounge area. Excellent traditional guesthouse (not motel) style rooms. Shared kitchen for making tea and coffee. Well located in Glen Innes. In the main shopping street, not on the highway. Opposite a traditional hotel and close to cafes and shops. Very friendly and informative host. Breakfast was great.
The staff and other guests were friendly. Mum and daughter team, hospitable and accommodating! I will come back if I'm in Glen Innes again. I do recommend staying here and the bed was so comfortable and the Air Conditioning cools the room down real quick.
Room was clean, everything necessary was provided.
Lovely location just to the south of Glenn Innnes. Being out of town and amongst fields was excellent. Despite the July conditions, the place was warm and comfy. The nearby Alpacas were a nice touch. The hosts were helpful but gave us our own space and did all they could to provide a comfy stay.
The apartment was clean, spacious, close to amenities, warm , very comfortable and included a washing machine and dryer.
It was perfect for us who got stuck in Glen Innes for two nights due to riad closures.
The proprietor was responsive, helpful and understanding .
All up a perfect stay
We were very happy with our room. It was warm, spotlessly clean, very well presented and great value for money. The breakfast was included and it was beautifully presented in their breakfast room. It reminded us of the lovely breakfast rooms in hotels in Europe. We enjoyed our stay.
Is in a quite location, & an easy walk to the main street. The room is clean & tidy, has bunk beds which are a bonus and the main bed is comfortable. These units are good value for money and the staff are extremely friendly.
Will stay again when next passing through Glen Innes.
Continental breakfast included in the room rate was substantial and served in a spacious and clean environment.
Bathroom/toilet was clean and spacious.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Wifi worked well. Parking at the door of the unit and undercover.
Motel is on main highway into Glen Innes from Tamworth but a little way from CBD and food outlets. Affordable and clean but you get what you pay for. We were looking for a relatively cheap and clean room and shower for a one-night stay.
A very good, clean and friendly motel. Spacious room with clean bathroom and shower. Good hot water.
My room at the rear of the complex was quiet. Friendly staff. Addition of continental breakfast in the price is a great offering.
Rooms were well appointed, clean, and mattresses were very comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Electric blankets were a nice touch as it gets cold at night in Glen Innes.
I liked the position of the Hotel but everything about the place was just great. I have mentioned it to many Sydney friends who were eager to listen because mostly we grumble about places, Not so this venue.
It was central to everything.
We just walked next door to the Central hotel for a beautiful meal.
Walked to the service station on the orner for snacks.
Walked up the street.
Perfect location
