This company,Magnetic Glamping Pty Ltd was set up to compliment the resort, and it also has been planned formally years This is a contactless resort, which can be booked on line.

Property info

We chose this property as it backs onto the National Park, and have owned the property for 30 years, always wanting to produce something that was extra special for Magnetic Island. This is the culmination of years of searching for the right product, and an eco sensitive retreat. We have just finished this amazing resort. The resort has achieved the prestigious award : Eco Tourism Certification. This is not easily achieved, but aligns with our aims. The onsite sewerage system maintains all water used on site, and gravity feeds the gardens. Single use plastics are phased out, and we source whatever we can for labour and products, locally. This is a light footprint resort, starting from the Eco Anchor foundations, which just pierce the ground, instead of destructive, concrete footings. The landscape is left untouched, for natural water flow.

Neighborhood info

There are so many things to do on the island, and all accessible direct from this resort. You dont need a car on the island, as the bus stops 50m from our entrance. Go to the local museum, and see photos of droving cattle direct across the sand flats at low tide, from the mainland. The strategic use of the island in WW11. The beautiful beaches, and the scenic mountains, make this a bushwalkers' haven,
