Marche Home Stay is a Bed & Breakfast offering comfort, relaxation, privacy and convenience set in the 'sort after' suburb of New Lambton. We offer a choice of accommodation from the traditional room with your own ensuite bathroom and our newly renovated 'Artist Studio' which is completely self contained. We are a 2 minute walk to Wests Leagues Club, taxi rank and bus stop. An 8 minute walk will get you to Flamingo's Live Dinner Theatre or the Stadium. A short walk will take you into the hub of our village with many cafes, restaurants, boutique shopping and amenities. We are also a short 4 minute drive to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle Private Hospital and Blackbutt reserve which has some of Australia's unique wildlife. A 6 minute drive will get you to the Newcastle University and the Mater Hospital. The airport is 25 minutes drive. You will feel like you are at home with all the personal touches we offer our guests here at Marche from the BIG jacuzzi/spa set in the deck of our entertainment area, 'Bali' daybed set in the tranquil gardens, the sun lounges, BBQ facilities, outdoor shower with hot & cold cold taps, set in the garden, and is completely private.
We enjoy travelling the world and our own country. We have stayed in many different countries soaking up the local cultures, trying their cuisine and gaining local knowledge by staying in B&B's. We love meeting people from all walks of life and having the opportunity of others staying at our B&B is a wonderful experience.
We are located close to public transport, a bus stop is 25 m way while a taxi rank is just 50m away. You will be within walking distance to 5 local pubs that have a range of menus from traditional to more up market. Also located close by to stroll to are 3 Asian restaurants, an Indian restaurant as well as Newcastle's largest club complex which includes another 5 restaurants and other facilities. There is also two shopping precincts you are able to have a short walk to and a large shopping Centre only 5 minutes away by car. Parking is available off the street on a service road. Newcastle premier sports stadium is only a 5 minute walk. For live entertainment Lizotte's Theatre Restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away.
