Leeuwenstraat is a part of Antwerp's historic city center. It was opened in 1548 on the grounds of the former Reyniershof. Leeuwenstraat has balanced developed buildings with old cores. The house, Leeuwenstraat 11, is small middle-class house with a traditional core dating back to the first half of the 16th century - under a saddleback roof (ridge parallel to the street), with wrought-iron wall anchors, wooden beams. In 2017, after a thorough renovation, this old building has been integrated with a smart home system and divided into three energy-efficient tourist accommodation units.. Each unit is fully furnished with well-equipped kitchen and has its own identical personality. #Ground floor Family Unit: The historic high ceiling keeps the room cool during hot summer days. The mezanine provides a fun & budget sleeping/escape space for your children from 6 -15 years old. #First Floor Studio Unit The large windows at the front provide this room with a lot of natural light. It gives the room a pleasant atmosphere in which to stay or work. #2nd & 3rd Floor Duplex Unit :Antique wooden beams , a green balcony , original small stairs give this room an unique experience to stay in.
