Some hotel staff (not first receptionist) and concierge guy were nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed some view at 7th floor, but unfortunately we were not allocated the nice room at a top floor that we liked (such as 13th, or 14th).. Hotel's location was very nice in Montréal's centrum.

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.
Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter time you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground through the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, cinemas and food courts.
From here metros will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.
In summer, stay closer to the old town and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t fine enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to the Montreal Casino.
Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Good place if you like summer festivals, formula-1.
Good place if you like summer festivals, formula-1. Saint-Helen island has a beautiful park, open swimming pull, next island has a city beach.
Can be ok for a short visit in summer. If you have to live here, the things are way more complicated. The permanent construction in downtown, a lot of dead small business place (killed by the "liberal" gov during covid). No jobs, no place to live and probably no more future for this poor cold country.

Usually Marriott has good standards but Montreal Delta rooms were dirty, the toilet was leaking, bathroom was out dated. A family of 4 has to cramped on the double bed. Staff was not willing to accommodate us in bigger bed - This specific branch was not 5 star at all. Its a 3-star motel feel to it..we left early as we paid more than other times and got the worst hotel experience this time...Disappointed

Downtown Montreal is one of my favourite places to visit for its excellent walkability, its excellent, protected bike infrastructure, excellent restaurants, shopping, and attractions! Whether you're an academic wanting to spend time in museums, bookstores and cafes or someone wanting to take in the night life, club and bar scene, this city has it all!
Some of my favourites include the cycling network with protected bike lanes! Cycling on the Gilles Villeneuve F1 circuit, the walking trails and views from the plateau and Mont Royal, watching soccer matches at pubs in Vieux Montréal, attending the Montréal jazz festival and summer street festivals when they close the streets to car traffic and have wonderful art installations... Alternatively just spending time reading and watching the city life from a quiet café or taking in some live music.
This is a fun city with great food, great beer, and a wonderful vibe! An absolute must for anyone visiting Canada for the first time!

- Sunrise at Mont Royal lookout spot is great.
- Sunrise at Mont Royal lookout spot is great. There's a parking lot if you don't want to climb up at 4/ 5am. There was also a sunrise yoga class the day I went.
- Notre Dame Basilica & St. Joseph's Oratory are both well worth it.
- Some great food.
And for all travel, imo:
- Make a loose plan, with a bunch of potential ideas of where to go. Then take it day by day, see what fits your mood that day. This works in groups too, even if a couple of people need to lead the schedule.
- Walk around the city, and just look around. Don't just the "popular spots" where you can do/ buy something.
