We were traveling from Italy to France and stayed overnight at Hotel Tell when passing through. We were looking for an affordable and comfortable family room in the mountains. Our one night stay was wonderful. Beds and bathroom were comfortable. Children's duplex part was perfect! there were two beds and enough room to play and read for the children (aged 6 and 8). Seelisberg itself is quiet, a little bit missing a town village... but ideal if you just want to stay the night and have a comfortable night's rest in the beautiful Swiss mountains. Reception by hotel owner was great. Thank you!

A charming little hotel located in a peaceful village, perched on the heights, and allowing easy access by both car and hiking to the stunning Lake Lucerne region. Just a short walk offers a magnificent view. The room was functional and thoughtfully arranged, impeccably clean with very comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent for starting a day of activities, with free parking right in front of the establishment. Attention to detail was evident, from the hiking shoe board to the little Easter chocolate eggs and the welcoming note. Special mention goes to Roger and his team, who were extremely attentive to their guests, and another special mention for the incredibly thoughtful treatment towards my dog, who even received biscuits left at my door for our return at the end of the day! I highly recommend it.

Room was nice with a large wardrobe for clothing and the bed quite comfortable. Breakfast was ample but adequate and there is a restaurant right outside the hotel, overall I enjoyed my stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tell. Myself and my little dog were made to feel so welcome, the staff even keep a little box of dog treats behind the counter for their furry friends! The staff were also extremely friendly, and very accommodating of my poor German. The food and wine was delicious, and I slept very comfortably in the single room with the incredible mountain view. Everything was clean and comfortable - I would certainly recommend Hotel Tell to anyone passing through Seelisberg.

Beautiful location with a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and above all nice, the room and the whole interior of the hotel very well taken care of down to the smallest detail, the room was very clean and smelled delicious. Sehr schöne und authentische Unterkunft mit sehr angenehmen Betreibern. Sehr flexibel was An- und Abreise betraff. Wir haben die Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp nach Italien aufgesucht und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Frühstück war exzellent. Das Personal war auch in schwierigen Situationen sehr freundlich und beherrscht. Auch ohne Auto ist das Hotel gut mit Zug und danach Bus oder Fähre und Seilbahn von Luzern aus erreichbar. Für Gäste mit Auto besitzt das Hotel einen eigenen Parkplatz. Das Hotel hat für Gäste einen Hinterausgang, damit man nicht ständig vorne durch die Wirtschaft ein- und ausgehen muss. Mehrere Wanderwege beginnen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung und sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Mein Zimmer war mit Bergblick, es hat mir persönlich sehr gefallen, im Winter und bei weniger Bewölkung sieht es vielleicht etwas spektakulärer aus.
