Xylophagou Experience 1, is a great place for relaxing holidays and/or get to know the Local Area, the Genuine Way! It combines accommodation in a quiet place, being Xylophagou village, but still close to main attractions, like Ayia Napa (10 minutes drive), Protaras (20 minutes drive) or Larnaca (25 minutes drive). The surrounding area, around the village, is rich in, Nature, History/Culture and Activities! Let me get into details. Nature: Cape Pyla, the coastal area surrounding the village, is one of the richest places in Cyprus regarding Marine life. The cliffs, on the eastern part of the coast, is a place few know their wild beauty. People who are interested in bird watching will love the place! History/Culture: Apart from Cape Pyla area in which you can visit few of the most famous caves in Cyprus, containing fossils of dwarf hippos and elephants, dating back thousands of years, the area has got also, a medieval church, a watchtower 700 hundred years old, and old wind mill. Activities: Among others, the surrounding area is ideal for "off-road" walking and bicycle trails, as well as having one of the best spots for Landscape, Wildlife and Sunset Photography!
