This was an excellent find, convenient to European University of Cyprus but also not far from the old town. I would definitely recommend it. Nicely done newer hotel in a quiet area. Comfortable room. And the staff was absolutely the best - helpful, friendly, warm.

Nicosia's old town is fascinating and safe to walk around day and night.
Nicosia also has an excellent cheap bus service.
Locals are friendly and helpful if you need directions. Many Cypriots speak English.
And of course the Greek Cypriot food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Besides, almost always great weather, very nice people, and delicious food, 1 - to 2 days in Nicosia is enough to walk around and check out the sightseeing. I recommend passing through the border to the Turkish side and shopping a bit in the Turkish Bazar (the ladies will like POSH Handbags & Shoes shop) and eating at the local restaurants. Have a Turkish coffee.

Nicosia is a very unique and historic City.
Nicosia is a very unique and historic City. Famously it is still a divided city and it is possible to visit Northern Nicosia which is under Turkish Occupation since the 1970s.
There are many very interesting and fairly unique sites to visit on both sides of the border.
Nicosia is both a very modern city and has also a very old and picturesque sector. The fact that it has a patrolled border, the Green Line, running through it makes it a very memorable experience.
There are many restaurants and tavernas of variable quality in the town. Sadly there are way too many fast food outlets, but there are also some traditional tavernas serving fresh local delicacies.
However my main criticism would be, as a vegan, I found it very difficult to find places that catered for me.

The southern city center is very small--you can easily walk from end to end multiple times in a day of sightseeing--but it is a pleasant mix of developed tourist streets, colorful quaint residential streets, abandoned buildings and weird more or less closed shops with display windows full of junk. The center is worth a day. A second day is best spent on the Turkish side or in nature at the city outskirts.

I loved and always visit Nicosia both myself and my wife visited 2 or 3 times per year I love the weather and the kind people , lots of attraction and lots of restaurants with fine food , fantastic place especially in December time , Nicola is easy to move around
The hotel is located on the edge of the old town and is easily accessible by car. There are several parking spaces all around (pay).
The public area of the hotel is very nice and modern.
When it comes to the rooms, the corridors are very narrow and the lift does not go to every floor. Stairs are not for tall people, you can easily bump your head.
The rooms seem very tight, my bathroom had a step in the middle of the room.
The breakfast was good, there was a lot of choice.
Comfortable bed and nice to have a kettle in room. Wifi was good. Lovely hosts and Just 5 minutes walk from all the local city centre attractions, restaurants, bars and shopping, and walking crossing to North of Cyprus. There was a free breakfast, provided by the hosts, which was a very nice, unexpected surprise, The hotel interior is superbly decorated, and full of character, very quirky
It was ok but not the best stay we had in Cyprus. Breakfast was minimal. Kitchen looked great. We cooked our own eggs in the microwave because the cooker did not work.
It was all ok, close to town where we saw the museum, the park and we walked through the old town. Great view from the tower.
Hotel Delphie
Very well located for those arriving or leaving by bus and it is close to the check point to the Turkish side.
The staff is attentive, especially Maira, very friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness is the hotel's high point. Towels are changed daily.
