Nice owner and awesome location. Beautiful building from times gone by.
The Payer hotel is located in a charming quarter of the spa town of Teplice. It was built in late Classicist style and is the place where the famous Arctic explorer Julius Payer was born in 1841.

Teplice (pronounced Teplitsa) is a spa town, with a small area of historic buildings in the centre. It is well served by trolleybuses and buses to all areas. Pivovar Monopol is a large brewpub in the main street, with at least four of its own beers on tap - lovely!

The countryside is beautiful.
The countryside is beautiful. The town is pretty much monotonous and boring. The buildings in the residential areas, however, are mostly pleasant and well kept. Unfortunately, conventional cafes are almost nonexistent. Transportation iş excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised - we booked quite a long stay on a relatively last minute notice and this hotel was the most affordable at the time, so I did not have high expectations, but it was better than I thought - the room was spacious, clean, reception very pleasant, they also offer breakfast for an additional fee, which is convenient, and on second floor, where we stayed at first, there is a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge and water boiler, which was a real game changer for me, traveling with an infant.
The hotel was built as a holiday home for coal-mine workers but there has been lots of renovation since those days. Location is good, in a quiet green suburb and with lots of free parking if you arrive by car, otherwise the city trolleybus stops a few 100 meters from the hotel. Staff is kind and helpful, I had a room with a balcony with very nice view over Teplice city and surroundings - so nice! The room was spacious and with all basic facilities. Don't expect luxury, but the place is very good value for money!
Great location (if you happen to have a friend getting married in the nearby Hotel Beethoven), big room, comfy bed, comparatively cheap.
Miraculously didn't get fined for parking on the street nearby when the receptionist failed to show up on time and tell us whether or not it was okay to do so.
The lampshade triggered nostalgic memories of the board game Mouse Trap.
The owner was very eager to offer coffee and tea in the morning at breakfast, but it was - unfortunately - too little too late.
Very good location of the hotel. The owner - really kind and helpful, we could count on him. The apartment's composition was convenient (in fact there were two separate sleeping rooms, which was very useful, as there were four of us). The hotel seems to be under some refurbishment process (e.g. some devices/furniture are new, some not). This may not meet the expectations of some guests, but we saw attempts of making improvements there. Besides the price was really user-friendly!
Hotel Payer exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the new building and everything was absolutely great. Soft beds and pillows (rare in Czech), very clean, private parking safely in back of the building, very secure gate opening and closing. Good breakfast. Well organized even though the reception hours are limited.
Hotel Payer is modern place in one of the best locations in Teplice. I would stay again!
Good small hotel not far from Teplice centre. Very convenient for the business travellers. This was the 2nd time that I stayed in this place, and I'm going to stay again in the future. Clean and cozy. The host always picked up the phone to let me in for the check-in, so there was no issue.
Really nice staff, comfy beds and spacious rooms. We had food poisoning the night before and were feeling terrible in the morning, they extended the check out to 14 so we could feel better before leaving, very much appreciated. Thank you again.
Quite nice small hotel; the cleanness was appropriate. The staff was overall friendly. Great location close to the town center and quiet district. Breakfast was good and of reasonable quality.
The hotel is nice and have everything that I need. Short distance to the downtown. Price is very reasonable. I will recommend this hotel to my friends if they go to Teplice.
Great hotel with brewery, restaurant and cafe in the centre of Teplice. Delicious food in the brewery, extremely friendly staff, tasty beer, comfy and quiet rooms.
Everything was perfect. it was clean and comfortable. The staff were great. the room was huge and we had a lot of space. it has a lot of window and good view.
