We enjoyed walks around the lake at Kvie Sø.
We enjoyed walks around the lake at Kvie Sø. I would recommend the pancake restaurant by the lake (Pandekagehuset Kvie Sø); the pancakes were delicious, there is a children's playground just outside the restaurant and you can paddle in the lake which is shallow and safe for children. Legoland, the Lego House and Lalandia aqua park are only about a half-hour drive away. We also enjoyed Karensminde Agricultural Museum near Grindsted - you can walk around the farm and see everything as it was in the 18th and 19th centuries. The old farmhouse is particularly fascinating and there are lots of farm animals to see.

However, in the morning you can meet a receptionist and ask for anything. You can park your car behind the hotel. The hotel has minimalistic and tasteful interior decor. Each room is decorated in a different music style (e.g. pop room). The breakfast room has a lot of character.
