A 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom property overlooking the beautiful beach town of La Herradura near Almunecar on the Costa Tropical. The property has its own private entrance and is arranged over 3 floors. On the ground floor is a large bedroom with queen-size bed & ensuite (with walk-in double shower) and a separate laundry room (with washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board) On the first floor is the master bedroom with a queen-size bed & ensuite (Bath with Shower) as well as the 3rd (Queen) and 4th (Twin) bedrooms and family bathroom (Bath with Shower). Fresh bed linens and house towels are provided for arrival. The top floor offers a large open plan living and dining room with sofas & armchairs, large smart TV (So you can access your Netflix, Amazon accounts etc) a desk, a wooden dining table (seating 10) and a bar area. The floor to ceiling glass doors open onto the sun terrace with sea views. There are two sun-lounger chairs and a table with seating for 4. There is also direct access to the kitchen (With oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine & microwave). The top floor also has a W.C. All rooms have air-conditioning. Guest has access to the two communal outdoor swimming pools (April-Oct) and Padel Courts. A car is essential, free on-street parking is available. This is a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood so it's not suitable for parties or loud noise.

Our casa is located in Los Altos de Carmenes, overlooking La Herradura bay. Situated next to a nature reserve this is a great place to relax but you are also only a short drive from the beaches, supermarkets and restaurants in La Herradura. Being located on the hillside a car is essential to enjoy the area. It's a bit too far to walk to the beach, especially in the heat of summer. Parking is available. There are two communal swimming pools on the urbanisation (Open April-Oct) and padel tennis courts. The area is midway between the popular resort town of Nerja and the more traditional and historic town of Almuñécar. The area is very popular with hikers, cyclists and of course water sports of all types. As the name suggests, the Costa Tropical enjoys an all-year-round pleasant climate. The surrounding hills are laden with tropical fruit trees. There is 19km of coastline and amazing beaches with spectacular cliffs and quieter coves. For diving enthusiasts there's the best underwater scenery in Southern Spain. A range of water sports can be found along the many beaches and from Marina Del Este. Casa Vigia is a great base from which to see the sights of the region. From the traditional white Andalucian villages (including Competa & Frigiliana), the popular town of Nerja, to the spectacular Alhambra Palace in Granada and the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada.
