I like how the staff successfully used a translation app to answer all my questions. I wish all hotels did this. Very kind and patient.
I would spent time here again.

This place is perfect. Nestled somewhere in Galicia, it was a complete escape. My room was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the shower was the right temperature at the right pressure. There's a huge living room/dining area in the adjoining building where you can sit and get through a few emails (if you need to). A large garden with a hammocks is at the back of the building.
Breakfast was fabulous, with the best coffee on this trip. A cake, the name of which escapes me, was about the best thing I'd eaten in weeks!
[This is an aside, but there's a little tavern in front of the hotel. If you want to meet the friendly locals, this is the place to go. After drinking my way through the bar with the locals and learning a few words of Gallego, I stumbled into my hotel room, happy that I had come to a place that is rightfully in the middle of nowhere, where people remain warm and welcoming.]
The surrounding area has some great hikes. You're not so far from beaches, dolmens and lush, green scenery.
If you like to be far from the madding crowd, you won't find better than this.
