Hosts were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable and peaceful - exactly what I was looking for being outside of the cities and in a more rural area. Breakfast was excellent, very clean and lovely added touches in and outside of the room. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with access to close by activities (Rioja, Vitoria-Gastiez, Urkiola Natl Park, etc.) this is it. It was indeed helpful to speak a good amount of Spanish in order to enjoy all the excellent owners had to share. I hope to return again!

I loved absolutely everything about this place. One of the best places I've ever stayed in. Comfy room and bathroom. Beautiful house and exceptional garden with a stunning view. Close to both highway and railway but it just makes it accessible, it doesn't disturb you at all. But above all the owners were absolutely fantastic - so kind, always smiling, they really make you feel welcome! Absolutely delicious breakfasts (every day sth new to try!). And tons of maps and routes and good advice prepared for you to make it easier to travel through this amazing area. But honestly, you could also stay all day long in that beautiful garden and stare at the mountains and be happy too! I'd love to get back there one day.
