A nice town with plenty of shops in the town and larger supermarkets on the out edge. Plenty of food establishments around town, always busy town in morning and late afternoon and evening, good train spotting area as large yard. Lovely river Ebro to watch Kayakers. So many petrol stations all with different prices but Supermarkets are cheaper.

It was in a convenient position close enough to Bilbao. It was clean and comfortable but a bit old and dated. Cafe was closed and restaurant didn't open til 2030 hrs which was a bit late for us. parking was easy and free. Good wifi.

I only visited for business, and did not have chance explore deeply but it is a small town, affected by the economy like many others. That said clean and as tidy as you might want. My next stop - a town in Germany - was not so clean so well done Miranda. Now to tackle the graffiti afflicting a lot of Spain and France...

This is a city/town of the real working Spain and you can see the local government is trying to invest in it, somewhat successfully. We enjoyed the evening stroll through the plaza's and there are numerous places to eat. We were only there 2 days, which was enough, but we would return to use as a base to explore the local area.

On our trip to Belgium we had our stop-over for one night as usual in the “Hospedaria El Convento”, and also on our return we stopped for one night in the “Hospedaria El Convento”.
This why the location is on our route, the location is fine for us, just outside of the village, small rooms but with the general things you need for one night. The Breakfast Buffet is not rich but good for Spain. The only thing what we can say as something negative is that they should put some carpet or something in the corridors, this because the whole convent is with tiles, and as you have people coming in during the late evening aswel during the night with trolleys on the tiled floor this is very noisy, and a simple carpet could avoid this kind of noice. For the rest no bad comments, we will stop again in the future.

We booked the convento randomly on the site and boy were we pleasantly surprised
The building is wonderful filled with history and beautifully restored
We had a nice room an old cell small but very pleasant
The hotel is situated a short stroll down the tree lined entrance to the town
Miranda del Ebro itself is a charming place
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone
The hotel is situated on the border side of the city. It has a good position for those who are traveling by the city and want a pit stop, so don't expect a romantic art design hotel in the heart of the city. The room was spacious and pretty clean. Simple but very good breakfast with classical tostadas and pastries. For coffee lovers, the bar prepares nice coffees instead of the machine.
We have stayed once before at the Convento. Although first time visitors may find the approach 'unusual' (through the streets of the 'old town' of Miranda de Ebro) the building is quite spectacular. The Hotel definitely has retained the atmosphere of when it was a convent and is very well located for Miranda's old town. (A very interesting tiered botanical garden is nearby)
I chose this hotel purely on its location, being an hour away from the ferry port of Bilbao.
Check in was quick and easy. My room was clean but a bit small, though fine for just a nights sleep.
I appreciated that they allowed my dog to share my room.
Plain, small rooms, worn but clean hotel, fulfills the minimum requirements for a short stay (one-night for us). Airco and mini-fridge seem standard. Average mattress. Long sausage pillows. Good Wifi. Great view from the upper floors!
This is a good value functional hotel. We could bring our family dog and the room was more than adequate. It is not too far off the motorway to Bilbao and there is free car parking on site.
Excellent. Air con that worked when you wanted it to and not when the hotel thought it was appropriate, fab staff, storage for our tandem bicycle, clean, comfortable large room, superb.
Was just a stop to sleep for one night. For that was great the Hotel had confortable beds and a big balcony with great view. The size of the room was very good.
