Beach or Mountain? There is much to offer, for who likes to wander about: Roque del Conde. The local trail 218 (SL-TF 218) starts at the foot of the Roque del Conde and reaches the summit of this 1,001 meter high giant. A beautiful stone balcony with views of the coast of Adeje, Arona, San Miguel, Granadilla de Abona, part of Guía de Isora and Santiago del Teide. In other words, a large part of the south of Tenerife can be admired from its summit. The path to the summit covers 2.5 km, which can be completed in approximately 2 hours. To return you can take the same path but there is the possibility of doing it in a circular route. This option follows a non-approved but well-marked path that takes 4 hours in total, counting the return trip. Renting a car is highly recommended, as it will provide convenience when shopping and visiting nearby beaches and golf courses. Taxis are an economical option for travelers who do not wish to drive.
