The beautifully renovated Alpage du Pralor is an old farmhouse which has been split into two very smart semi detached rental properties each for 8 people, Le Nova and Le Peille. The OVO Network team’s opinion - This property has 4 ensuite bedroom and is spread over three floors. It is a perfect base for those who value nature, space and simply stunning panoramic view. Virtually every window is like the frame of a picture postcard! With very good quality workmanship and craftsmanship throughout the build itself, natural fabrics and colours, a hammam and an outdoor jacuzzi thrown into the mix too, this property is ideal for a family a group of friends, or couples. The chalet stands alone at the top of a meadow with the forest behind, above a farm where you can purchase very fresh milk, cheese and butter. You will need a car to access the ski slopes and the local shops, there are some beautiful walks from the front door. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

When you stay at Le Nova, your peaceful surroundings could make you feel like you're miles from anywhere. In fact, the pistes of La Croix Fry are just a few minutes' drive away and parking is free. The whole of the Annecy ski resorts, including La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, are easily accessible, giving you more than 200km of skiing. Floodlights on some of the pistes mean you can even ski until 1am in La Clusaz on certain dates, and the weekly torchlit descent is an experience you'll never forget. Plus there are dedicated pistes for trying out paret racing, a home grown Manigod sport! Cross-country skiers will find plenty of trails to choose from, and non-skiers are not forgotten, with a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, ice skating rink and cinema, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides. For the ultimate in winter fun, try paragliding on skis or ski joering - skiing while towed by a horse! We'll be happy to welcome you to our sports shop, Veyrat Sports, in Manigod-Croix Fry where we will keep a parking space for you on request, right at the bottom of the ski slopes. In the summer, there’s no better place to relax than the two terraces of Le Nova (each of them equipped with a table and chairs for 8). But with so much to discover, you’ll regret it if you don’t make the most of it! There’s no shortage of walks, from mountain trails to hiking on the Gliéres or walks to the Beauregard plateau begin at the front door. There is a table tennis table set up behind the chalet. Adrenalin junkies can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing, mountain-biking, karting or white-water rafting - just some of the activities on offer within a few miles of Manigod. Via ferrata is a great family day out, with children as young as eight able to explore the mountains on iron walkways, secured to a harness.
