Excellent position. Highest point in Les menuires. Easy to ski down to sunny and miss any queues (not that there were any really at Easter at all). Family room with two bedrooms (feels more like a small apartment) has great views and a lovely little snug bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Swimming pool is fantastic. Food is excellent.
Lovely meals (if you fancy something different/cheap then pizza Lili is a good option). We didn't go half board but it would be a good option. Breakfast is delicious.
Staff are all really nice and helpful. Ski hire is next door/connected to hotel
Prosneige ski school was great (and Jacks cafe next to it is good/good value/good coffee)

Absolutely love it!
The Hotel itself is amazing. The rooms were spotless, big, very comfortable beds. Wonderful scented candles everywhere.
The restaurant is on the side with a delicious breakfast(free):
coffee, cheese, croissants, smoked fish,eggs, oatmeal, fresh juices etc.
Very friendly and helpful stuff. Whatever questions you ask - they are there ready to help.
Great communication, very easy check in/check out.
They allowed us to stay until 3 pm for no charge.
Ski lift is walking distance. As well as ski rentals,shops, restaurants and cafes.
Highly recommend.

Its very expensive compared to other areas I have stayed, I wouldn't have stayed here if it wasn't for the cycling. You can get way better value else where. Meribel - Mottaret is a great resort a little higher and smaller than Meribel. It’s ideal for families as has many ski-in out options. At Easter it was fairly quiet, no queues and plenty of Space. Weather was changeable but we had very good snow 3 /5 days. The restaurants are decent and there is a good supermarket. All very easy to navigate. Fabulous find. Great location with all amenities within walking distance. Super well groomed large and varied ski area accessible to beginners and intermediate skiers. Great people. Excellent food and drink. Amazing views.

We went to meribel for downhill mountain biking.
We went to meribel for downhill mountain biking. While there are a few red and black trails, which favour a downhill bike, most trails and tracks are better suited with an enduro bike. If you don't mind a little bit of pushing uphill, it's fine either way. Most "Bikepark" tracks are on the easier side suited well for beginners. Elite/pro tracks are harder to find, but those that exist are fun to ride with well built jumps and drops / obstacles. I wouldn't mind to have more of those though. The enduro trails are panoramic and absolutely superb. The view from the mountains is just stunning. Descent is sometimes over 1000hm which is really amazing. All three valleys can be accessed with chair lifts by a single ticket. The price is totally fair. Summed up, for hardcore Bikepark riding an area like Chatel/Avoriaz/Morzine is probably a bit better, but for a good mixture of DH/Enduro Meribel and surrounding area is just perfect. Would bring both bikes next time though ;)RobertAustria - 10Scored 10

I have been to Meribel for a week's skiing before and had a great time. Now I visit often for just the day as we stay in Chamagny en vanoise which is just across the valley from Courcheval and has access to la Plagne, Champagny is a cute tradition French village and just feels like you're in France unlike some other ski resorts. From here we can ski La Plagne and Les Arcs or drive 20 mins to Courcheval to mix up the week a little.AndreaUnited Kingdom

While there were a number of restaurants nearby, we mostly cooked and dined in the apartment since grocery shopping at 8 a Huit was conveniently located within the apartment complex. This apartment was warm, had abundant hot water, and a complete kitchen which made for a very pleasant stay. Excellent location, the rooms are small but very clean and the bedding is comfortable and very high quality. The dinner (was included) is way above average Courchevel' snobby, expensive places. The apartments don't even come with toilet paper, you have to clean up and strip the beds yourself. It's functional and well-located, Meribel Mottaret is a nice resort, but it's definitely not luxury and shouldn't be billed as such. It was nice they accept pets though!

Easy access when driving and a good garage. Spar is a 2min drive away but would be a hard walk back up the hill with shopping. Apartment was very spacious for a ski apartment, well equipped and modern - couldn't fault it.

The daily cleaning was also very much appreciated. The rooms, although small, had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The locked boot room is also easily accessible without the need to go through the bar.
