Die Lage ist einzigartig. Die Ausstattung des Chalets ist hervorragend. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Bei einer großen Gruppe sind 2 Spülmaschinen wirklich toll. Wir haben die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien genossen, so dass man die Möglichkeit hat, sich zurückzuziehen. Geschirr ist in ausreichender Menge vorhanden, so dass wir alle gleichzeitig an dem großen Tisch auf dem Balkon in der Sonne unser Frühstück genießen konnten. Michel ist ein sehr netter Host und war für unsere Fragen immer erreichbar.

The chalet is a 3km drive from the busy village of La Giettaz, but there are some shops, bars and restaurants around the lift area, which is just a 450m walk away. Whether you are visiting with friends or family, there is plenty of room for everyone and with seven bathrooms, your privacy is guaranteed. But when you want to get together, there's plenty of choice - watch a film in the cosy living room, cook together in the spacious kitchen, enjoy the views from the terrace or relax in the spa area - there's a sauna and stunning sunken hot tub with wonderful views over the mountains. If you'd rather enjoy your own company, most of the bedrooms have their own balcony where you can soak up the sun or the crisp mountain air. We think Chalet Goville is the perfect solution for a large family group, or a group of friends looking for a unique experience in the French Alps - there's plenty going on, whenever you visit. Just 450m from the chairlifts and 3km from the busy village of La Giettaz, Chalet Goville is in a great location for skiers, walkers and mountain bikers. The link from Le Plan to the ski areas of Combloux and Megève means skiers have lots of choice - more than 100km of pistes in the Portes du Mont Blanc area, and still more in the larger Evasion Mont Blanc area, which covers Megève, St-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Veroce and Les Contamines. If you're still looking for more, you're just a short drive from the La Clusaz ski area, which has more than 200km of pistes. There's just as much to do in the summer - choose from walking, climbing, mountain-biking, summer luge, picnics, or just enjoy the 360-degree views from the top of some of the ski lifts. The Col des Aravis, a familiar scene in the Tour de France, is also nearby. The owner, a keen cyclist, is happy to take guests on road bike tours in the summer, when the ski room becomes a useful space to store and maintain your bikes. The medieval town of Annecy is just 45km away - close enough for a day trip. Explore the narrow streets and canal side restaurants or enjoy a day on one of the lakeside beaches. Or head to "Le Palais" sports centre in Megève, via Flumet, it's only half an hour away.
