This small and cosy mid terrace house was once a Victorian workers cottage and now offers comfort for guests with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a full bathroom downstairs. The stairs to the first floor bedrooms are curved so be careful not to hit your head on the ceiling. SLEEPING The 2 bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage. The second bedroom benefits from a dedicated workspace and the ability to pull out a single bed from underneath the fixed single bed. This is known as a trundle bed and the non-fixed section won't be made up prior to your arrival. Extra bed linen is provided. Otherwise all beds are dressed in hotel quality linen. Please note: Travel cots are available on request, please provide your own bedding if required FRESHENING UP The ground floor bathroom is very spacious with modern features. Towels and toiletries provided. Washer available. Hair Dryer, Iron & Ironing Board provided. The cottage is in the heart of historic Windsor, near the River Thames & only a 10 minute walk into the town centre where you will find shops & restaurants as well as access to the Windsor Great Park. There are 2 railway stations connecting you with London in about an 1 hour. You can see Windsor castle from the front of the house, if you don’t mind the railway bridge between us! Duke Street is a friendly residential street with a mix of neighbours, professionals, young families and older couples. Windsor is a great place to be based to explore London & the South of England. ESSENTIALS The co-operative supermarket is just round the corner (5 min walk) and is great little shop with a good range of produce. Fresh fruit and veg.
