Perfect location for catching a flight out of Lurton, you can actually walk to the airport. Very quiet despite being next to an airport and a busy road. On-site restaurant and bar were good. The vegan curry was surprisingly delicious!

No complaints about any of the staff, mostly East European who were absolutely lovely and obliging. Special mention of the Hungarian guy who was running the restaurant who was a happy guy and very helpful indeed. The reception and restaurant was like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean no doubt because of the efforts of the young male cleaner who ensured not a speck of dust nor a wayward crumb escaped his Henry Hoover!

Between 2 of England’s principal motorways, the M1 and A1(M), Luton is best known as an arrival point for cheap flights to London. A low cost carrier hub, Luton Airport is home to the unmistakable orange headquarters of Easyjet.
Booking.com offers hotels on the airport grounds, as well as accommodations including guesthouses in the town nearby, many of which offer free parking. But that isn't the only reason to visit.
Luton once had an important role in hat-making, an industry which has given its name to the Hat Factory performing arts venue. The town’s huge carnival is based in leafy Wardown Park, home of Luton Museum and Art Gallery.
Local crafts from yesteryear are displayed in the discovery center at Stockwood Park. Also here is one of the golf courses surrounding the town, and just east is a spa and swimming pool at the Luton Hoo country house hotel. Another golf course borders the Dunstable Downs to the west, and a third is by Whipsnade Zoo, the largest in the UK.
Luton shopping options include The Mall (previously the Arndale Centre), and the nearby station offers direct trains to London St. Pancras. Available restaurants cover everything from Indian to Caribbean and Malaysian.
The city is very easily accessible to and from other parts of UK by train, bus or plane. Luton boasts of a lovely wildlife Zoo that made our experience even more memorable. If your interest is shopping or dinning, you have lots and lots of fantastic options at Luton. It's a lovely place to retreat and enjoy a peaceful ambience while still feeling excitement of holiday- making!
The hotel I stayed in. There was a big bugs in there the red Lion Hotel room call Griffin. I have a videos pictures very dirty room very bad on hygiene and a manager. Don’t agree with me or offend my money back very bad cleaning hygiene I believe nobody should stay there.
We are Australian travellers and have friends who live in Toddington, we booked in to the Lea side Hotel, then realised there were two towns wth this name. Inadvertently we booked accomodation in the wrong one. We notified them approx 23rd June, of these details made for 18th JULY, . Thinking this would not be too much of inconvenience we got word that the full amount paid , was Held as cancellation FEES. Not very much goodwill shown we thought o/10
Luton is a town that you pass through, not visit. It is a typical midlands town with its underfunded structure, homelessness, poverty, ridiculous rental prices, beggars on the street. It is a multi-racial community and whilst each community has its good points, collectively nobody cares. The town centre is cleaned daily but the rest of the town needs demolishing and rebuilding. There are some good central facilities, the Mall, Library, Cinema and Gym to mention some but nothing that stands out. The town has a Premiership Football Club but needs a new stadium. So come on Luton, invest, sort out your crime rate, look after your residents and maybe one day people will want to visit.
The venue is great for shopping, and day-return travel to St Albans, or London. The interaction with Booking.com gave the impression there were staff in person - but this is not the case. There is a shop you have to collect your key from (from about 8 am to 9 pm), but if flights are delayed, guests are stuck to find other accommodation as they cannot pick up their key - and they cannot get their money back. The procedure for giving in the key early on Sunday is also not good, as it involves putting a key in a place where other people could remove it. A secure look-up box for returned keys is needed. Suggestion: ask guests what they did: open-ended question. I expect most visitors to Luton are from overseas and without cars, so they want info on food and shopping; and sites to which they can walk, and go to by rail and/ or bus.
love the town centre, The accommodation is just 6 mins walk to the town mall. The kitchen is well equipped to cook as desired no need to eat outside. it is quite easy to get around Luton once you study the google map. The bus system is very good.
I've stayed at this Hotel many times when travelling to/from Luton Airport for many reasons, 1st, it's town centre local of course, the other reasons are,,,,,,,, Ease of transfer by Bus/Train, the stations being just around the corner, pleasantly furnished and clean rooms with breakfast included at a very reasonable price, good security and parking if required. An excellent package in my opinion.
The building is new on very convenient location - just 10 min with a bus from Luton airport. Facilities are new, the room is very clean and the style is contemporary and minimalistic. Convenient beds and memory foam pillows. The bathroom was spacious and convenient. Very pleasant bar and restaurant on the parter.
If you have an early morning flight like we did, this hotel is a perfect solution. It offers simple, small rooms with clean sheets, a continental breakfast starting from 4 AM (!!!), and it's just a few minutes' walk to the airport. I highly recommend it!
Cheap and in great location. Not so far from the airport - you can go to the bus station in case you don't have big suitcases, take one bus 10 min and you are in the airport. Close to Luton center so shops and supermarkets nearby.
The hotel was easy to reach from the airport by foot and is located right next to the train station. The breakfast buffet was very nice; you could even make fresh waffles and, of course, have a full English breakfast.
Great location not only for Luton Airport, but also for London: so many London (M25) hotels are expensive, poor quality, and have little or no parking. lovely big bathroom.
The hotel was fresh and comfortable. Contemporary and an great alternative to the other hotels at Luton Airport. Nice friendly atmosphere, good food and a good sized room.
Luton
Close to Luton airport only 12 min ride, cheap overnight rates. Room was big enough but in need of some basic stuff. Very basic but passable.
Very good alternative close to Luton Airport. The bus station to the train station is just across the hotel. Breakfast was good.
Cheap and cheerful ideal for one night stay close to Luton & London Airports.
great location for Luton airport. very little hotel noise in corridors.
Close to airport. Cheap hotel.
