A professional photographer welcomes you to her home. she has appeared on TV, and nationally acclaimed for her work, the house is next door to Lanercost Priory and the Tea Rooms, The house also is home to "Peanut" The Sprocker, who has appeared on TV and Commercials and nearly every single National Newspaper

Situated in the beautiful rolling north Cumbria countryside, near the ancient Lanercost Priory, Abbey Farm House provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in double (king sized beds) and twin bedded rooms. The rooms are en suite with extra large showers. Both the private parking and the WiFi are free at this charming Lanercost B&B. We are approximately 1.2 miles or 1.9KM from Hadrians Wall. the property is situated next door to Lanercost Priory We are at the moment re decorating all the rooms and as soon as we have completed will post new images of the internals Dogs are welcome at the Property but a per dog per night charge will be levied, they will receive Food and Treat Goody Bag with dog bowls and bed in room Dinner for the evening can be arranged with the Local ie 2 minute walk at Lanercost Tea Rooms that are at the moment open on Friday and Saturday evening Pre Booking is recommended We are also able to do dinner but must be pre booked Packed Lunches are available for your onward travels The property will reopen from the 1st May 2024

Lanercost is a village in the northern part of Cumbria, England. The settlement is in the civil parish of Burtholme, in the City of Carlisle local government district. Lanercost is known for the presence of Lanercost Priory and its proximity to Hadrian's Wall In the peaceful Irthing Valley and close to the route of Hadrian’s Wall Lanercost is well known for its 12th century Augustine Priory and royal connections. In 1306/7 it provided a resting place for the mortally ill King Edward I and his household during what was to be his final campaign. The Hadrian’s Wall Visitor Information Centre at Lanercost Tea Rooms is a great starting point for exploring the area. The tea rooms serve great home cooked food and you can stock up on locally produced products and gifts in the shop.
