We are approximately 1.2 miles or 1.9KM from Hadrians Wall. the property is situated next door to Lanercost Priory We are at the moment re decorating all the rooms and as soon as we have completed will post new images of the internals Dogs are welcome at the Property but a per dog per night charge will be levied, they will receive Food and Treat Goody Bag with dog bowls and bed in room Dinner for the evening can be arranged with the Local ie 2 minute walk at Lanercost Tea Rooms that are at the moment open on Friday and Saturday evening Pre Booking is recommended We are also able to do dinner but must be pre booked Packed Lunches are available for your onward travels The property will reopen from the 1st May 2024

Lanercost is known for the presence of Lanercost Priory and its proximity to Hadrian's Wall In the peaceful Irthing Valley and close to the route of Hadrian’s Wall Lanercost is well known for its 12th century Augustine Priory and royal connections. In 1306/7 it provided a resting place for the mortally ill King Edward I and his household during what was to be his final campaign. The Hadrian’s Wall Visitor Information Centre at Lanercost Tea Rooms is a great starting point for exploring the area. The tea rooms serve great home cooked food and you can stock up on locally produced products and gifts in the shop.
