Helen and Scott were great hosts attentive and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were immaculately presented with fresh milk in the little fridge and homemade cupcakes on the dresser. There was a good range of breakfast choices with the same attention to detail given to the dining facilities as with the room.

Abingdon House is ideally situated on Avenue Road in Torquay which is one of the primary accommodation areas. Avenue Road is level and leads to the Historic Torre Abbey House and Torre Abbey which stands in front of the Seafront Promenade, Golf course, Park and Gardens, Pitch and Putt and Cafe's. The Park area is a lovely place to relax and take in some of the stunning Bay views. Torquay harbourside, shops of Torquay's Fleet Walk shopping precinct and the Pavilion are just around the bay.
