Exmouth is a lovely seaside town that seems to have avoided the brash loud music and flashing lights of some seaside towns. There is a lovely square with cafes where you can sit out, a lovely beach, bowling alley and restaurants. We were out of holiday season so you had to plan as places were not open full time. In summer I think there will be lots more options

The Exmouth festival was on while we were there and we had a couple of lovely evenings sitting outside bars in glorious sunshine listening to the lovely music and people watching. We also took a trip on one of Stuart Lines lovely boats which was excellent, good value and great service. Brilliant!

Hidden gem of a place.
Hidden gem of a place. Lovely square in the town with eateries and pub. Beautiful walk ways in the shade though park and towards cricket field. The actual towns and beach was spotless and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Highly recommend Rock Fish and Namestah the Nepalese restaurant was superb. The width of the promenade enables dog walkers, cyclists and amblers to enjoy the magnificent sea views. Very easy to walk around into town from the seas front as well.

Clean beach. Lovely marina.
Clean beach. Lovely marina. Land train not working which was not good for my elderly relative. Went to play crazy golf at lunch time, closed!! Exmouth is very clean, gardens are nice. Lots of dogs on pushchairs! Town square is pretty. Lots of options and budgets for restaurants. Great train links. I would recommend a visit.

Exmouth is a lovely seaside town, extremely friendly people who are really helpful when trying to fins a shop or particular place. Many restaurants, bars and pubs.
We went for a beautiful 2 mile walk along the new footpath/cycle coastal route up to Lympstone and back on the local train. The following day we went on a boat trip to Topsham which was excellent. The captain was great and gave us an excellent and informative commentary. We then explored Topsham, had some lunch in a local pub and caught the train back to Exmouth. The train fare was included in the boat trip booking.

Really lovely town centre.
Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops.
Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs
The young staff here are exceptional (special thanks to Tiago) and helped my sisters and I cope and kept us cheerful during an extended stay with our mother in hospital. The hotel became a real home from home. The view from the comfortable & well-sized bedroom was spectacular. Way to go, Manor Hotel! Also the history of the hotel is so interesting and people should know in detail about it!
Fabulous Hotel, best in Exmouth. Staff and owner were very friendly, attentive and helpful. They all went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. Room was quiet and exceptionally comfortable. Very nicely decorated with a homely feel and good breakfast to set us up for the day ahead.
A fantastic short stay in exmouth over the Christmas period. A large room. A great breakfast. We had a great view over the hotel garden that was completely covered in an amazing Christmas display. The location a short walk from the beach and town centre was perfect
