Our beautiful family-owned property is on the edge of the Peak District and only a short drive away from the renowned town of Holmfirth, sleeping 10 guests in 5 stunning bedrooms. Local Walks from the Doorstep The centre of Millhouse Green village is just a 5-minute walk and offers a welcoming award winning pub serving food and a small shop which offers a range of sandwiches, pastries and baking. A short walk from the House is the Trans Pennine Trail an old railway line which was used to transport freight goods and cattle from East to West Coast. Over the years since the railway was dismantled in 1980, the trail has become a haven for wildlife with its many species of trees and wild flowers lining the route, making it a perfect place to enjoy walking or cycling, whist taking in the stunning scenery. On the Sky Line behind the house is an old Pack Horse trail which can be joined near the church and leads to Royd Moor Viewing point, which offers amazing views into the Peak District.
