I'm absolutely disgusted by the service of this accommodation. They took money out of my account twice after a mistake. I quickly contacted them and they agreed to issue the refund. It has been over 2 months now, and 4 phone calls later after being told it would be sorted, it still isn't sorted. I stayed at this accommodation for my daughter for an exam she had, and this added stress of being told something but not having it actually done was the last thing we both needed. I have spoken to different people at the racecourse and everytime I've been promised a follow-up and for the situation to be solved, but this has not been the case. I do NOT recommend this accommodation at all, purely due to the lack of respect they have for their customers. Leaving customers in the dark and misleading them every time is not how a business should operate, and I have had no choice but to resorting to writing this review.

Doncaster does not have a great reputation.

Doncaster does not have a great reputation. It has a reputation of of social depravation. But Doncaster hides away some incredible sights, wonderfully warm people and things that are a delight that just cant be found anywhere else. I stayed at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park which was an incredibly wonderful place. It is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in the UK. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate. They were exceptionally friendly, helpful, had a great sense of humour and in the room of the hotel had every thing you needed. The needs of the customer was clearly thought through leaving a sense of gratitude. I was constanly impressed with the decor, comfort and facilities. The facilities comprised of a small amount of niche retail shops, such as photography, art. But is also had a beauticians. It has plenty of food outlets. It also has indoor adventures for the kids. The Wild Life Park itself was clean, and quite a nice adventure. It had animatronic dinosoars which might sound unexciting but it was actually good. The kids love this. In the Park itself there are fast food outlets which are not as high quality as the food and beverage near the accommodation. But they are typical for a Wild Life Park. The animals in the park seems pretty happy too. Lions, Tigers, Polar Bears, Giraffes, etc. Not to mention monkeys. It would be a great place to visit for a few days or even a day.

I booked for 1 week but did not feel it was enough time so I booked another week directly through the hosts who helped to make it cheaper for us. There are so many shops if you want a shopping spree, buses that take you to Doncaster race course, cinema, bowling, escape rooms and if like myself and my partner you like having a good night out then you will love central Doncaster it is full of bars, restaurants from Italian and Weatherspoons to Frankie and Benny's and Nando's if you don't mind a short bus ride. If its a night of dancing until the early hours then Silver Street is the place to be, which is literally 2 minutes from the studio apartments, There are so many clubs the only problem you will have is which one to choose! I even bought cocktails all night as they were only £2.49 in our choice of club and I was told they are roughly the same price in all the clubs, so not only did we dance but we only spent £50 for the 2 of us which was a lovely bonus and made for a fantastic night out! I would highly recommend Doncaster and the Studio's we stayed in. I cannot wait to come back again and I now know there are trains and buses to Leeds where I would really like to visit, the next visit will be this year for definite! I would also like to visit Yorkshire wildlife Park which is a trek but buses can get you there. If you drive then you will be able to visit so many places in Yorkshire.

Location was ideally suited to visitors of the Wildlife Park and we got a train to Doncaster and an Uber to the hotel. We travelled as a family including my (adult) son who has autism and complex needs. All staff from reception, dining facilities and the park itself were immediately aware of my sons needs without explanation and couldn't have been more helpful or understanding.

Lovely quiet location off the main roads. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our host was SO great! We got in late and he escorted us across to the restaurant that’s affiliated with the hotel. They were closing up for the evening, but he put in a word for us so that we could get something to eat. He went out of his way to help us and it was SO appreciated!
