We had a change of career a few years ago, and purchased a small number of holiday cottages in the Peak District, which we look after personally. We work in the Peak District, so are always nearby on-call should you need any help or support during your stay. Peak Holidays is a trading name for blue limes ltd a small family owned company, which has been trading since 1999.

Property info

Anne’s Cottage is a stone built cottage situated close to the centre of Bakewell, with on-street parking outside the cottage. This cottage is full of character and includes two bedrooms, with king sized beds (one can be converted into twin beds on request) and each with their own private bathrooms. Pets are welcome - please note that this cottage does not have any outdoor space, but walks are available from the door. We ask that dogs are kept downstairs, not allowed on the furniture and not left alone in the cottage.

Neighborhood info

Bakewell is idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park’s mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards. Bakewell is also extremely popular with visitors and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a frequent local markets and is probably best known for its unique and delicious Pudding. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, or riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area.
