Company information

James and Julia Harrison are local to the Hordle area and are always available to answer any questions our guests may have. We are also on hand should we need to pop into the cottage if there are issues. We are very familiar with our surrounding areas and have a wealth of knowledge of the local attractions and places to eat and visit. Property information

Welcome to April Cottage, a charming retreat steeped in history and warmth with seasonal heated swimming pool and fabulous hot tub. This Grade II listed cob-built thatched cottage, dating back to 1721, offers a cosy escape in Hordle surrounded by the New Forest National Park. Step inside to find a sunny entrance hall with a timber stable door, leading to a delightful sitting room boasting exposed timber beams and a lovely south-facing view of the gardens and pool. The farmhouse-style kitchen/dining area is fully equipped for cooking, handmade oak units, a spacious table for eight, and a Rayburn range. A stable door opens to the front garden with a heated pool (available from May to October) On the ground floor, you'll find a comfortable bedroom with built-in storage and access to the garden courtyard and hot tub. An adjacent fully tiled wet room ensures accessibility for all guests. A separate utility room offers space for pet beds and convenient access to the rear courtyard. Upstairs, three cosy bedrooms await, each with a private en-suite bathroom and plenty of storage space. Hordle is a village in the county of Hampshire, England. It is situated between the Solent coast and the New Forest, and is bordered by the towns of Lymington and New Milton. Hordle is an extremely well connected area for Bournemouth, Southampton and the local beaches.
