Hosts Sam and Tom were very responsive. Not only did they share lots of helpful information but they were very accommodating of our requests. The property is lovingly looked after and well presented. It was spacious for our family and better than some hotels we've stayed in.(No dust, limescale or mildew in sight) Great beds and good quality linens. We decided not to drive, but that didn't hinder us. The property is well located for the train and local bus routes. For us it was a great base to explore the rest of Thanet. Additionally we were close enough to the high street and beaches, convenience stores, bakery and pub - should we have wanted. It's going to be one of the most unique properties you've stayed in, don't hesitate to book!

Sandy Shore Broadstairs is a unique guest suite located in the former Art Deco home of 50's piano legend, Russ Conway. The property was originally built by Ideal Home as an exhibition house, used to showcase the building techniques and style of the time. Now an interior award winning home, this stunning apartment offers up to 4 guests the opportunity to experience Broadstairs in a peaceful, scenic location. Situated 15 minutes walk from the station and Broadstairs town, 3 stunning Blue Flag beaches and the village area of Reading Street. The suite has its own tropical garden with large patio area for sunbathing and relaxing.
Hi!, We are Sam & Tom and we moved to this iconic Art Deco house back in 2017 with our two boys and Welsh Terrier, Leonard. Since moving here, we have embarked on a mission to renovate and restyle our home into a creative hub for both ourselves and those keen to experience the delights of Broadstairs and this interesting property. We both work in creative industries and it has been a joy to apply our experience in renovating our family home. We look forward to meeting new visitors and hope you enjoy your stay. The suite is an extension of our family home which we occupy full time. We live in a quiet residential family area next to a large park with open playing field and small playground. We tend to be at home most of the time so we can be contacted for help, if needed.
Sandy Shore is situated between the picturesque village of St Peters and the pretty and family friendly appeal of bustling Broadstairs. There are seven sandy beaches dotted along Broadstairs' beautiful coastline and it's timeless appeal is perfect for family fun by the sea. Central Viking Bay boasts children’s rides and beach huts, rural Botany Bay is the most photographed beach with views of white cliffs and stunning chalk stacks. Joss Bay offers a surf school and all day beach amusements for younger children. In Broadstairs you’ll find fishermen’s cottages, clifftop walks and independent shops lining unspoilt streets. Broadstairs has become a haven for foodies and you will be split for choice. There is a large variety of eateries from fine dining to traditional fish and chips. Morellis ice cream parlour is a must visit with it's unspoilt 1950's interior and an ever changing menu of Italian ice cream, made on the premises. Visit in the autumn and at Easter to feast at the three-day Broadstairs Food Festival, where you can sample examples of Kentish foods and wines.
