Whitstable is a great town, just the right size with lots of...
Whitstable is a great town, just the right size with lots of independent shops and also right by the sea. Some wonderful old buildings including the theatre. A Must is to take a break at Revival, a great cafe in support of Mind and good mental health. Lovely staff, great coffee, wonderful atmosphere and carrying out great support in lots of different ways. Then just walk a few yards to the beach and harbour. Wonderful town

Lots of history in this area and well worth a visit.
Lots of history in this area and well worth a visit. In the town itself many places to sit have a tea/coffee and people watch. Lots of nice pubs. Many many quaint shops.
The beach is pebbley some sand when tide goes out.
We were there for the Oyster festival so if you like them that’s a good time to visit.
Our three day break was just right perhaps one more day would of been nice.
The sunsets here were incredible. Very romantic and we’re 77 and 80!

Whitstable has a fantastic "personality" if you can say that about a town. There's a great harbour and beach, lots of independent shops and cafes, and a vibrant artistic community. I stumbled across Whitstable by accident a few years ago and I can't stop going back for more. I don't think I will ever tire of the place!

Whitstable is an absolute gem.
Whitstable is an absolute gem. A proper seaside town with bags of character, brilliant seafood (the oysters are a must), and a lovely working harbour . The high street is full of independent shops and cafes, and the beach huts along the coast are so picturesque. Easy train link from London too, making it perfect for a quick getaway. Can't recommend it enough.

Whitstable is a wonderful town, with harbour and sea views,...
Whitstable is a wonderful town, with harbour and sea views, great shops and a nice harbourside market. We enjoyed the Oysters and whelks from the seafood stalls, had a lovely coffee at Hatshats and walked to Tankerton Slopes, a lovely coastal walk. On a separate day, we visited the castle and the gardens, well worth a visit. It was our first visit to Whitstable and we came away very impressed with this lovely Kentish coastal town.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of Whistable. The view from our window/balcony of the beach was brilliant.
Our main reason for choosing his option rather than other locations was it parking space (a rare commodity in Whitstable!). The accommodation is room only, tea and coffee making facilities only but there is the option of having breakfast at The Continental Hotel (the owners of the properties) but there are many other options also nearby.

The room Wass beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The shower was the best I've ever used and tge room was bright and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed I'm room three named Emiline after a local historic boat. Nice history provided. Friendly staff and great breakfast. We will be back. The hotel is bang in the middle of historic whitstable.

Great location and fab view. Check in was very easy, thank you to a very helpful receptionist at the Hotel. Hut was clean and warm and had all that we needed for our very short (1 x night) stay. An easy stroll for dinner at the Whitstable Oyster Company and helpful just to had the keys back at the housekeeping lodge on check out.

It was a lovely place and we will return - unfortunately we were there during the water shortage in whitstable and couldn’t flush the loo , have a shower or decent coffee from their coffee machine . It wasn’t the hotels fault bug somewhat marred our stay .
