Visit the harbour and sample the famous oysters, walk down Harbour street and browse in the many independent shops and boutiques, and walk out to sea on the street- a spit that is a causeway at low tide.
Really great seaside town. Was pleasantly surprised by how up beat and relaxed it was. Some excellent work undertaken, especially on the front to make it a very stylish promenade. Lots of history too - take a trip to the little museum - really good value for money at £2.00!!! Loads of really good quality shops and restaurants too - spoilt for choice. Highly recomend it!
Interesting independent shops. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Friendly locals and history of oyster beds and the first passenger railway line in England Good walks and views ,easy to get to Canterbury and other coastal resorts .
Enjoy a long weekend of eating oysters and drinking ale in this sweet coastal town. Try some paddle boarding or take a long walk along the coastline and get some fresh air and exercise to revive your city-dwelling self.
Whitstable is a bustling and lively seaside town. We liked the wide variety of independent shops and cafés, sadly becoming a rarity in many English towns. Lots of eating places, pubs, cafes and restaurants and there are lovely walks around the harbour and along the sea/river front.
In many ways a step back in time. People friendly. Shops all individual. Never liked oysters until I came here, now I'm hooked. Especially after I found out they are one of the best foods you can possibly eat.

What a lovely property! Well managed and situated right on the coast. All facilities were there and in good working order. The owner apologised for no TV, but really you don't need it. Whitstable is a lovely town and the room was somewhere to pop back TO.

Excellent location, on the beach but also very very close to the town centre. Free parking was a real bonus. Hotel Continental is a little bit of a trek from the huts, but definitely worth the effort for their excellent breakfast!

This was my first stay there. I stayed n the White room which was huge, warm and lovely. I felt at home as Sue made me feel so comfortable and was very attentive to details. The room was comfy and kept so clean and well stocked daily (towels, coffee, tea). Breakfast was wonderful and just so relaxed. The room just smelled so clean, fresh and inviting. Sue was a wonderful hostess and just made my stay in Whistable more memorable. I will be coming back to this wonderful B&B which is my new retreat and home.

Superb location, right in the Harbour Street amongst the lovely little shops, and 2 minutes walk to the harbour-side. It's a great size, very well-kept and new-looking decor, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and everything you need. The Housekeeper was on-hand to answer any questions and also brought a hairdryer around when I asked for one - super customer service
