Margate House, hotel in Kent

Margate House has accommodations in Kent. The property is located a 7-minute walk from Walpole Bay Beach, 0.6 miles from The Bay Beach and 5 miles from Granville Theatre.

The property has recently been refurbished and was of impeccable standard. I was a big fan of the decor and personally did not want to go home to my drab house. Definitely considered painting all rooms pink from the moment I stepped inside. Cute room albeit small but snug. Beautiful bathroom with good shower. Loved the addition of the complimentary snacks. Bed was super comfy and air con worked a charm. Only regret was not making breakfast.

Beautiful room, gorgeous pub and very cosy / quirky. The breakfast was simple but tasty and just what we needed before leaving. The staff also put our luggage in the room for us, which was a nice touch.

Herne bay is an interesting place which is a town of two halves. Its still clinging on to the kiss me quick tradition but in the back streets there the gentrifying is gradually happening, thank goodness!

This time we didn't get to see much of the surrounding areas as we went for s family wedding. There are a lot of historical places to visit and Dover is a short drive away. As well as other beach resorts and of course Canterbury Cathedral

    Don't rent thos property!

Don't rent thos property! Broken in half furniture, oven not working, dished dirty. Broken tables, no hot water and no WiFi. No one came to fix anything. Can't process a refund. Agreed on one amount and now they saying will refund 20% only. Absolute disappointment. Stains on pillows, mauld on walls and the list goes on

Stayed here a couple of times with our good friends. I will be back to book up again for next year, you are central to everything and Canterbury is just 10 mins in the car. Lots of things to do in Kent, it feels like a second home. I would recommend staying at this park, it's quiet, out of the way. Nothing you could dislike about it.
