The property has recently been refurbished and was of impeccable standard. I was a big fan of the decor and personally did not want to go home to my drab house. Definitely considered painting all rooms pink from the moment I stepped inside. Cute room albeit small but snug. Beautiful bathroom with good shower. Loved the addition of the complimentary snacks. Bed was super comfy and air con worked a charm. Only regret was not making breakfast.

Beautiful room, gorgeous pub and very cosy / quirky. The breakfast was simple but tasty and just what we needed before leaving. The staff also put our luggage in the room for us, which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately my room faced a main road out of Canterbury which meant that there was traffic noise all night. Also, the advert was for ‘Available Parking.’ This was on a busy road which should be made clearer in the property description.

We went to Whistable market as well during this visit and the town is really good walk around and with a lot of good local shops as well. Great place. I would highly recommend using the local bus transport as the taxis are not as frequent and uber is difficult to find.

Bread in freezer was open and probably freezer brunt one had a date on it from February . He needs to look up what a containter breakfast is . Single bed mattress are to big for bed frame and fitted sheet did not fit mattress properly

We loved visiting Quex park and museum, it was amazing! So much to do and visit. Reminiscing over places I visited as a child. We ate at Toby Carvery whilst family were watching England play Euros. Next time will avoid M25 , what a nightmare 51/2 hrs journey, instead of of 3 1/2 hr journey.

We only had time to visit Hythe and Folkestone, which are both lovely. Both places were within easy reach by car.
On the Friday evening, we left it a bit late to go out to dinner. We struggled to find a place where the kitchen was still open at 9pm. We ended up in the Sunshine restaurant (good Turkish food) on the High Street in Hythe.
On the Saturday, we had lunch at the Lazy Shack on the seafront in Hythe. Excellent although a little pricy.
