The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric range cooker with oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining seating for eight guests and a sitting room with TV. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request), a super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, a twin (zip/link, can be twin on request), a ground-floor twin with en-suite shower room, along with bathroom and a cloakroom. Outside there is a private garden, and off-road parking is available. Within 1.5 miles you will find a shop, within 4.3 miles, a pub and within 0.1 miles, a beach and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Auchenvhin is a fabulous base from which to explore all that Scotland has to offer. Note: The fireplaces are non-working. Dalbeattie, a charming rural community, is located in Scotland's southwest. The town, which provides access to the gorgeous Solway Coast with its kilometres of beaches and charming fishing villages, is located within a wooded valley on the River Urr. The granite quarry that once made Dalbeattie famous exported stone all over the world, most notably for the Thames Embankment and Eddystone Lighthouse. Today, it is well known for its outdoor activities, including the nearby 7stanes mountain biking complex and Glentrool's forest walks, where you can retrace Richard Hannay's steps from The Thirty Nine Steps. The Solway Firth, the Lake District, and the Galloway Hills are all visible from Dalbeattie and its surroundings in all directions. a wonderful setting with amenities for everyone.
