Only 5 miles from the coast, my single storey converted detached barn enjoys lovely views over the South Hams countryside. It has been furnished and equipped to a good standard retaining many of the original features, ensuring a very comfortable home from home. The small bedroom has a tri bunk (single on top and small double below), which can accommodate 3 children. It has a large enclosed garden, that includes a lawn and a patio with comfortable lounger style furnishings. Two allocated parking spaces are available for guest use.
In my professional life I provide consulting services to charities and I also enjoy being an airb&b host of my barn conversion cottage in Devon, UK . I have a passion for travel and when time allows love anything to do with gardens, both visiting and creating! In advance of guest stays, regular communication by phone and email is common. During a stay, advice and support is always available by phone, including in the event of emergencies, when for property related issues, a personal visit can be arranged. A comprehensive written guide relating to the property and local area, in terms of local services and amenities, what to do etc. is made available for guests. And, on arrival, you will find a welcome refreshment basket to help you settle in after your journey. I have offered my property for rent for the last 15 years and have consistently enjoyed hosting many families and couple of all ages, several of whom return.
The cottage is set on the edge of a village which is part of the outer Paignton area. Whilst it is located in a residential area, there are views over the neighbouring countryside. Set back from the main road the property is quiet and within a 5 minute walking distance of a pub and bus stops which serve routes to Totnes and to the greater Torbay area. It's a 5/10 minute drive to the Paignton seafront. Other nearby attractions include a Vineyard (10 min drive) and Paignton Zoo (5 min drive). Several supermarkets are within a short drive also,.
