Kidlington is conveniently located for all your travel needs whether it be for family vacation, leisure, or business. The town is a large village yet small enough to feel quaint with proximity to both Oxford City Centre as well as the Oxford Airport. Since 1962 the airport has had a pilot training school for thousands from airlines in more than 40 countries. Despite its size it is still categorized as a village, the second largest in England. It houses the headquarters of Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Services, Thames Valley Police & the county St. John Ambulance, as well as the European publishing firm Elsevier & many industrial companies. It is the perfect area to stay for lovely pub, restaurant & café options with ease of access to grocery stores as well. The village boasts beautiful walking & biking trails as well as access to a few areas to canoe & kayak. There is a little bit of everything for you in Kidlington & we look forward to welcoming you to the village for your stay!
