We were catered for from the moment the front door was open. We were greeted with warmth and made to feel at home. The breakfast and snacks were amazing. The owner treated us well and saw to all our needs.

We booked here very last minute after our flight from Heathrow was cancelled. Sharon was waiting for us as we arrived and showed us our room, which had a little kitchen area and the fridge had a selection of soft drinks. There was also milk for a much needed cuppa. We didn't book breakfast as we had to leave at 5am for our rescheduled flight, but there were yoghurts, small cereal boxes, and bread available if we wanted.

Our schedule arriving from Southampton after our cruise made our arrival at Blue Bell Cottage earlier than expected and before the check-in time. They made arrangements for us to leave suitcases there which allowed us to include other attractions in the area before check in.

Attention to detail- amazing self serve continental breakfast. Spotlessly clean and calm and quiet. This is by no means a hotel - it is an awesome BEd and Brekkie- but it puts almost all hotels to the test.

Warm welcome from the host, comfy beds. Little kitchen facilities like toaster, kettle and well stocked fridge were fab! Free parking on the drive.

We were welcomed at the door, and shown around the room, which was up stairs in the dormer roof. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, and there was a small kitchenette with microwave and toaster. Because we had said that we would be arriving later in the evening, the proprietors had stocked up the kitchenette with croissants, cereals, bread for toasting. There were instructions of where the nearest pubs were, should we want to go out. This was probably the best value for money place we have ever stayed in England. Only regret was that we didnt stay longer. Thank you. Can I come again next year?
