Bowden Retreats is set in a very special location in the South Devon countryside, only a mile from the Blackpool Sands beach. The retreats are two neighbouring properties, both enjoying private terraces. One is a luxury Skandi lodge and the other a traditional Georgian property. Both provide a comfortable and stylish accommodation for guests who wish to holiday together but appreciate private space.

Neighborhood info

Bowden is a small hamlet near the naval town of Dartmouth. It is set in rolling countryside and is part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hamlet itself is quaint and picturesque, with charming traditional Devonian architecture and surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green fields, woodlands, and meadows offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, hiking, cycling. Blackpool Sands is a mile away, a relaxed saunter through the country lanes and a swim in the sea is the perfect way to spend a day. There is a restaurant with takeaway options and plenty of parking for those wanting to take their beach gear. Dartmouth is a short drive away, with it's boutique shops, cafes and boat trips, this town is picture perfect and provides plenty of entertainment for all the family. Salcombe is a 45 minute drive, the market town of Kingsbridge 20 minutes and Dartmoor can be reached in less than an hour.
