Brand new stylish conversion of former stables provides a lovely, light filled, characterful apartment, with private south terrace adjacent to our vegetable garden commanding views over the open countryside towards Dartmouth. Large living room with kitchen, bedroom with en-suite, all with underfloor heating. Great location for exploring South Devon.
Guests have privacy but we are generally around to provide helpful local information.
We are in a tremendous location, a couple of miles from the picturesque River Dart at Dittisham, around five miles from Dartmouth with its beautiful marina and many tourist attractions. The South Devon coast has fabulous beaches at Blackpool and Slapton Sands and stunning headland walks around East Prawle and Start Point. A little further afield you'll find historic Totnes, with its medieval high street and castle as well as trendy Salcombe and the breathtaking scenery of Dartmoor. Walkers are truly spoiled for choice. All the local towns are very foodie, with great restaurants, cafes, tea shops and delicatessens showcasing local produce, including fresh fish from nearby Brixham. There is even a local vineyard at Sharpham and a brewery at near Kingsbridge. A car is essential to get to Dartmouth where you can access the local Park and Ride to the town centre and the river ferries. Totnes has excellent rail links, including a fast train to Paddington.
