With a mix of single, double and twin en suite rooms; Bush Nook Farmhouse can comfortably sleep up to 15 people. Situated in Hadrian's Wall Country, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind in wood-fired hot tubs with a glass of bubbly. Ideal for family celebrations, birthday parties, corporate retreats and marriage events.
We will meet and great guests on arrival, help them with a short tour of the house and facilities. We live on site so are available as much or as little as our guest require.
We are surrounded by rolling countryside and the hills and fells leading onto the AONB on the North Pennines. You also have views over the River Irthing north to Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall and the Forgotten Lands of the English Borders. Gilsland village is a short walk of 1 mile, to a lovely Tea Room and local pub. From our door there are a couple of wonderful loop walks and numerous cycle routes. Arrival by public transport is possible but probably not the best for large family or friends to arrive at Bush Nook. There are taxis available in neighbouring villages but a limited bus service to the local village.
