Originally Hebden Bridge was seen as a "Hippie Hideout" but as the town has changed so has it's residents and visitors. It is now becoming increasingly cosmopolitan and bohemian as artists, performers and the LGBTQ community started following in the footsteps of the first hippies. The town is becoming increasingly popular with tourists/walkers/bikers etc. Furthermore, Hebden Bridge has recently been voted the UK's most unspoilt and best independent shopping town. The walk into Hebden Bridge can be done along the scenic canal, which includes a café and award winning pub just around the corner. We provide free on street parking outside the property, if you wish to drive into the centre which takes literally 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, we provide local taxi numbers in the house instruction manual.
