A very warm welcome to our beautiful 17th century grade 2 listed cottage, a much loved property in the charming and historic village of MEDMENHAM (betwixt Marlow on Thames and Henley on Thames, only 3 miles from each town centre) deep in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire/Chilterns (an area of outstanding natural beauty). Boasting oak beams, inglenook fireplace with log burner in cozy living room, 2 double bedrooms, modern kitchen, walk-in shower room, well presented exterior space for socialising (including a picture perfect garden-patio with large cast iron fire-pit BBQ). This recently renovated cottage makes the perfect romantic holiday home for couples or a restful family gathering. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling (including original oil paintings, vintage/antique furniture plus a large wall mounted Ultra HD TV with surround sound. Connected to Netflix, Amazon Prime, on demand TV apps and live digital TV stations). As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The modern kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer, a microwave and a tumble washer/dryer. The cottage is a perfect place to relax (very quiet and secluded location in ancient disused chalk quarry) and offers wall mounted televisions in the living room, both bedrooms as well as internet access. Property benefits from recently installed German made "Fischer" electric central heating/hot water system. Electric Car Charger can be made available by separate arrangement. The location benefits from being a short walk to the famous and delightful 14th century pub/restaurant Dog & Badger (via a private connecting walk way. Highly recommended for wonderful food and drink). Bus route 800/850 services High Wycombe/Marlow/Medmenham/Henley/Reading just one minutes walk to Henley Road from the cottage.
