The location perfectly combines the conveniences of Chepstow town with the Wye Valley, forest walks, castles and other attractions. The heart of Vauxhall Cottage is the wonderfully large kitchen - a great place to gather with family and friends. Featuring a big pine dining table and chairs, an island with stools, and plenty of seating, the kitchen is a light and airy social space. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals, with a double oven, pots and pans, and a generous fridge with freezer compartment, and a double Belfast sink. Guests can also enjoy the spacious and comfortable living room, with two sofas and additional chairs, wood burning stove, and TV. The large "understairs" cupboard in the lounge is packed full of games. Alternatively, the bright and sunny garden room overlooking the patio is a great place to curl up with a cuppa and a book - or to complete one of the jigsaws! If someone needs to work or catch-up on email, whilst away - there is a private study room with a desk - this room has a tiled floor and is right by the back door, so could alternatively be used for keeping hike boots, pets, bicycles, etc. The bookshelf in the study might offer some new reading material too.
