The delightful Suffolk village of Barrow is on the doorstep with a pub where you will find roaring log fires and upmarket indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is delicious. A stone’s throw away from the cottage is The Playground, an outdoor assault course and in nearby Kennett, Phoenix Cycleworks has an exhilarating bike park, full of jumps and bumps. Nearby Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey, both National Trust-owned country houses, provide picturesque parkland and gardens.
