Clear instructions for access to parking and the keys to the house were provided by e-mail a few days before we arrived. The whole interior and facilities were top class. Before buying anything you think you might need check under the stairs or under the sink. Everything conceivable was already available. Food shopping is a very short walk away at the Coop mini market, or a Chinese/Thai takeaway. Cooking facilities for a whole family have been provided. I wish our own home was as good as Copley Loft. For those without a car, Shepley station (hourly service between Huddersfield and Sheffield) is 10 minutes walk away.

Featuring a large kitchen / dining area leading through double glass doors to a spacious living room. The second floor consists of a Master bedroom and 2 double bedrooms which are built into the loft of the house giving them their own unique character. Outside is a small concealed flagged & pebbled garden area which enjoys a large amount of sunshine. The property is accessed from a private courtyard of which contains 2 parking bays allocated to the property. First Floor Kitchen / Dining Area - 6 place dining table, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine, washer/dryer and Amercan style fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser. Living Room - Two sofas and 58” smart TV Second Floor Master Bedroom – King size bed, 32” smart TV, Wardrobe and Drawers Bedroom 1 – Two single beds, Wardrobe, 3 Drawers Bedroom 2 – Double bed, 3 Drawers Bathroom – P Shaped bath with shower, Toilet and Sink
Just a 35 minute drive to Shibden Hall Museum the setting for the BBC series Gentleman Jack & Storthes Hall University Campus is 2 miles down the road. Shepley village is located south of Huddersfield and offers lots of great walks and other activities. The local pub and village shop are just across the road and there are various pub / restaurants nearby. The famous town of Holmfirth is just a short drive or bus ride away and other places of interest are The Yorkshire Mining Museum, Cannon Hall Farm & Country Park, Kirklees Light Railway and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Also running through Shepley is the Trans Pennine, Penistone line and the train station is just a short walk away opening the access to many Pennine villages including Honley and Penistone. The train line runs between Sheffield and Huddersfield which creates the gateway to many other great Yorkshire Cities and Towns including York, Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley & Doncaster.
