Superb location to explore all that Brixham has to offer, yet well appointed and romantic to lure you back to relax and just be. All that you need and hope for a supremely inviting, comfortable and memorable getaway, either for a short break or a week or two. Our pretty blue and white cottage is perfectly imperfect to us and combines many traditional charming features, with some lovely modern comforts. Shrimp Cottage is a one-bedroom cottage perfect for couples, with the ground floor entirely open plan and makes for both a cosy, sociable and highly functional setting. Flooring in the whole downstairs area is traditional limestone, with rugs for a homely feel. More elemental features draw together the old and the new with reclaimed wood shelving to the tops of the rustic kitchen tiles, beams, bar and some furniture. Guests will enjoy relaxing in the loft bedroom bursting with character from the beams, refinished original wood floors and exposed stone feature wall and a free-standing bath to enjoy a soak in. Check-in is a breeze using Yale Home SmartLock App with your smartphone and a unique link to unlock and lock the door during your stay. Guests can briefly pull up outside Shrimp Cottage to unload and load. On street parking is available in the nearby vicinity (tips will be sent upon booking). PLEASE NOTE: Fisherman’s cottages are wonderfully characterful and quirky and tend to have some low beams and steep stairs, as shown in the listing photos. We understand these are not suitable for everybody and all guests should give this consideration prior to booking.

Shrimp Cottage is set within a small cluster of traditional Fisherman's Cottages in a conservation area, tucked just 150m away from the wonderful hustle and bustle of Brixham Harbour - England’s most active Fishing Port. Perfectly poised for all the Brixham has to offer with wonderful restaurants, bars, pubs, shopping, outdoor natural sea pool, coastal path, and with access to other local beauty spots such as nearby Dartmouth. Shrimp Cottage is new to Booking yet has accrued many 5 Star Reviews over the past couple of years on other sites. Brixham is a very friendly ‘all year round’ town so is wonderful to visit and has something to offer whichever season guests choose to visit. Guests also appreciate Shrimp Cottage due to it’s superb location that enables walking (or boat rides!) everywhere and with all the local amenities there is rarely a need to jump in the car.
