Situated in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park, Little Brook Cottage is a traditional chocolate box cottage accommodating up to four people in two bedrooms. One with king-size bed and second room with one small double sofa-bed. The kitchen is very well equipped with utensils and pans. The bathroom has an in-bath shower. The living room has a small drop-leaf table for dining. Read by the gorgeous woodburner, and relax to the sound of the babbling brook at the back of the property. Lovely walks are available as soon as you step outside. The cottage is situated in the centre of the oldest part of the village, near an 11th century church and a two minute walk away from free parking. Everything is just a stroll away. The Horseshoe Inn (2 mins) the town of Crickhowell (12 mins) and the canal, (5 mins). There are loads of water and mountain walks, pubs and great restaurants.
The award-winning town of Crickhowell is a beautiful 12-minute walk away. Named ’The Best Place to Live in Wales in 2019’ by the Sunday Times, and also ’The Best High Street in Britain 2018’, the town is full of character, with many cafes, restaurants, and award-winning pubs. Crickhowell is home to the Walking Festival in March, the Green Man Festival during August, and the Literary Festival in October. It's also close to the Brecon Jazz Festival and the Abergavenny Food Festival. Free street parking is available throughout the village. There are many walks that you can take. The Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and River Usk are a stones throw away from the cottage. Wonderful walks can be taken to Table Mountain, Glanusk Estate and Llangattock Escarpment. A short drive ill take you further afield to places such as Sugar Loaf Mountain (20min drive), Pen-y-Fan (34mins) and the Big Pit Coal Museum (22mins)
