We stayed in the apartment for one night. Saturday 28th June. The Crown is an Inn that is 275 old. I has many original features. The ambience was very quirky. It’s in a rather remote area, very quiet and peaceful. It had a fridge, kettle, microwave cutlery and crockery. It was a very hot night but we had two fans to keep us cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee too. The owners were very pleasant, check in was very easy. Please support this local pub with accommodation. Places like this are hard to find.

I liked the Cathedral with its Mappa Mundi and great café.

I liked the Cathedral with its Mappa Mundi and great café. There are a number of fine old buildings to admire, pleasant walks along the Wye River and some independent shops for retail therapy. It’s pretty easy to get around on foot. Slightly harder to get through by car.

Hereford city centre has some beautiful old buildings.

Hereford city centre has some beautiful old buildings. The cathedral is lovely. There is a good, bustling market in the middle of town. There are lots of places to eat & drink. The newer area, near the football ground, has shops, restaurants, a supermarket, a cinema & a hotel.

The visit to the cathedral was excellent.

The visit to the cathedral was excellent. The library and city museum was closed. We were told due to lack of funds. Ames happened to visit on a day of medieval festival which proved very good. Recommended restaurant provided a different style Csons by the river castle gardens

We were only there for one day and & enjoyed a meal at The Imperial Inn and a trip to the Odeon Cinema. We also visited the Cattle Market where we found many sheep for sale, a few goats but sadly no cattle which is what we were hoping to see. Anyone parking in the multi storey car park near the Odeon should be aware that it is indeed a pay & display car park and not a pay on exit car park, as we had thought. You will receive a penalty charge notice if you do not buy a ticket on arrival and display it on your vehicle.

Good places to visit - black/ White House , cathedral especially mappa mundi Lots of good restaurants, pubs ( especially oldest - the red lion) and coffee shops Butter market no t worth the trip Considering it’s a city bus transport very very poor after 6 pm

We were very surprised that the Zippy bus was FREE and...

We were very surprised that the Zippy bus was FREE and very convenient. Not much else is free nowadays especially in Ireland where I came from. The Cathedral was beautiful and the stained glass windows .beautiful.

We had good communication with Kelly throughout our booking. The parking was good in a private car park and easy to find. The accommodation was as in the photos and clean with everything you need. You could easily walk to Hereford town centre and cathedral in 10-15 minutes. There was breakfast provided in the form of Quaker oats, pastries and pots of milk in the fridge for tea/coffee which were also provided.

I'm a regular visitor to Hereford and this is the best apartment I've stayed at. Situated close to the town centre with restaurants and shops The car park opposite was an added bonus. The apartment was clean with every amenity necessary. Unlike the other places I've stayed in Hereford, there was only a single flight of stairs to negotiate thank goodness.
