A cozy comfortable B&B run by a husband & wife team who are passionate about their accommodation and put their own nice touches to the place. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and there is a guest hall upstairs with fresh cakes and tea/coffee. Breakfast is exceptional in both the spread and the generosity, and there is even a special item which changes daily. Lynette is very helpful, warm and welcoming and her passion makes a big difference to a great stay.

Craiglands had new owners in 2019 who refurbished throughout. The beautiful Edwardian features have been retained and restored whilst each of the four rooms has been given a cosy, contemporary feel. Craiglands is the perfect Bed and Breakfast for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Located on the Dales Way, the Lady Anne Way, the Way of the Roses and Tour De Yorkshire routes we have facilities for bikers and walkers to relax after a long day in the countryside . . . whatever the weather! We have secure storage for motorbikes and bicycles and a newly installed electric car charging point. Our rooms offer versatility for families, friends, couples and single adventurers. All will receive a warm welcome, a hearty breakfast and a few unique touches. We are close to several wedding venues including The Gamekeepers Inn, Appletreewick Cruck Barn, Devonshire Fell and Red Lion and we offer shuttle facillities to and from these venues.
We are both passionate about the local area and were inspired to open a B and B on the Dales Way route after walking it ourselves. In 2019 our dream came true (aside from the disruptions!) and we would love to welcome you to our 'home from home' B and B. Nothing is too much trouble so please ask us for anything you require, We offer guided walks, crafting workshops, birthday and hen night packages on request.
