Everything!!! I have been into Lincoln often for work and leisure. I didn't even know this place was there. I wish I had! Absolutely brilliant. The room was fantastic, bigger than you'd think, very well decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Of course it's ensuite too. Really interesting place. The Landlord was exceptional Very friendly, very informative If only all hosts were this good. Great location too, everything around you that you could want. And it's not far at all into the town centre, a decent walk and everything you need is there. I completely recommend you stay here.

What an absolute pleasure to stay here it was! Iain met me as arranged and showed me everything I needed to know. He was polite, couteous and very thorough. I was made to feel very welcome. Next day at breakfast, I met Iain's wife Anna and she is every bit as lovely as her husband. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice. Drinks and snacks are available for free during your whole stay. Refreshments (including alcoholic) were always available as was a very comfortable guest area (with TV etc) to enjoy them in. I also got to share a little of my my faith with the hosts over breakfast which for me was an added bonus! Creston Villa is one of the best places I have stayed in for many years and I will definitely be booking again. Victor Croll...

The rooms are just like home and the house is a great departure from the standard corporate hotels. Breakfast was outstanding as the owner prepared a wonderful meal. Local jams and relishes were outstanding. I had a nice walk the evening I arrived toward the down town area, interesting shops and local foods.

We had a 1 night stay to visit Lincoln, staying at Creston Villa Guest House. Arriving earlier than expected, Anna checked us into our room early and we were able to walk into the city centre from the accommodation (approx 20 mins on foot, or a short bus ride away). The room (Pine Room) was spacious and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was served in the dining room by Anna and Iain, with various options including granola with fresh fruit, cold meats, eggs, cheeses and a selection of fantastic homemade jams and marmalades, not forgetting fresh coffee and juices. Above all, hosts Anna and Iain were wonderful. A welcoming and attentive couple that clearly love running their guest house and do it extremely well. We would recommend Creston Villa to anyone looking for a break in Lincoln.

Literally, everything was spot on, and better. Hosts were amazingly helpful, provided more than was needed; food was so plentiful and delicious. The place was quiet, clean, comfy. I honestly cannot fault anything - nothing negatively impacted my stay. I probably couldn't say everything I could without sounding made up!

Very specific instructions on how to get there were excellent. Greeted very cordially on arrival and given full instructions on everything by Iain, the host. Everything I could ask for was in the room plus a bit more, dish full of sweets, full range of coffee etc. the bed was comfortable and the rainfall shower was a dream. Supposed to be a light Continental breakfast which turned out to be almost a full meal, with cold cuts, cereals, toast and home-made jams - I could go on and on but it is really just gilding the lily. This Guest House is simply the best value that anyone could ask for and I thank Iain and Anna for a super stay. I would gladly recommend them to anyone and would definitely try to book there again if I ever need to go to Lincoln again.
