The accommodation is outstanding, lovely social areas downstairs to chill out, large conservatory to relax in on large sofas
A small kitchen area with fridge so I was able to have either toast, coffee, or cook something in the microwave
Rooms spotlessly clean as are the social areas
Edel was super accommodating and makes me feel relaxed during my stay it made my whole visit a joy
Will stop here next time I am in the area working or even just visiting

Location was very good. It is on a busy street, but the noise was not very noticable.
We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6.
We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome.
We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it.
We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness.
I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.

The city itself was a nice place to visit with lots of great shops, cafes and eateries. The area around the city is a great place for views, countryside walks and again lots of places to eat, drink and chill.

Got a clear sense of history in the city, with plenty of locations to visit and to get a feel for the place. As the city itself is not too big all of attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of each other.

Lovely park and walk beside hotel...enjoyed shops...lovely cathedral....just one little hicup..after leaving cathedral i went to filling station opposite as i needed to pick up a few things..i asked the little girl behind the counter if they had a toilet i could use...she replied no which was ok but i found her rude and not in the least bit friendly, unlike some of the other shops i visited...apart from that i had a great time in Armagh😁

Went down on a Sunday, stayed in City Hotel which was fab, went out to the town,I must say it was the worst town I’ve ever been to,not one shop opened, really struggled to find a bar to have a drink in…the only good thing about Armagh is the City Hotel
We could not have picked a nicer place or location for the Georgian festival in Armagh. We were able to shop & nip bk to. Leave bags in the apartment within mins. This apartment was immaculate. Yes it's a bit worn as you would expect any older house to be but it has buckets of charm. Loads apace for 3 adult ladies & a massive kitchen & seperate living room. Anne was fantastic in facilitating our requests & we will make an annual visit to Armagh for the festival & book here with Anne.
We visit the hotel on a regular basis. We like it because of the consistency of service provided by the staff across all areas of the hotel, whether it be the receptionist’s, bar staff or housekeepers. So welcoming and friendly. But for this review we would like to thank all the staff who serve breakfast. It runs so smoothly. Particular mention for this review is for Ciaran who handled a tricky situation with politeness and professionalism with support from the manager. Brilliant!
A friendly and very helpful welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities one would require. Tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings. The owners are very concerned about the comfort and requirements of their guests. I will happily stay there again when I need accommodation in Armagh. Thank you for making me so welcome.
The Rose was the perfect place to base myself while in the Armagh area and Olivia was an exceptional host ensuring that I had everything I needed. The house has all mod-cons and is spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and each room has an ensuite. There's even a secure outdoor area which I could use to store my bike overnight (I was in the area to do a cycle)
The Meadows is just on the edge of Armagh so in a great location. The host was warm and welcoming and I felt very much at home. The room was very cosy and comfortable, with an ensuite shower room. Breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay again. Thank - you for looking after me so well.
I loved everything about my stay. Located in rural setting, lovely and quiet, yet close to Armagh city. Perfect hosts, brilliant breakfast and very comfy bed in a spacious room with 5 star shower room. One of the best places I have ever stayed in. I hope to bring my family to stay next year
We were only staying from 6 PM (for a show in a nearby hotel), and had to leave next morning at 9 AM, but we really thought it would be a very comfortable apartment for a longer stay. (Breakfast not included in our deal, but we brought some food of our own and kitchen facilities were good).
The breakfast was exceptional, the room was very comfortable, and despite the B&B being on the outskirts of Armagh it only took about 15 mins to walk into the centre. Bernie was a wonderful host - friendly, attentive and accommodating.
very clean, modern amenities, nicely decorated. nice big communal sitting and dining area. nice provisions of teas and coffee, fresh milk and biscuits!!! very friendly hosts, helped to bring the luggage in.
Brenda had everthing that we needed and gave us a warm welcome to the lovely cabin. The place was cosy, clean and very private. Just outside of Armagh city centre, it was a perfect stay for a great price
Clean and comfortable stay in new modern room in a renovated mansion. Private parking. Walkable to town, great to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. Would recommend
