Elbury Farm is situated on the National Trust Killerton Estate, on the outskirts of Broadclyst. We offer a mixture of shared accommodation and a self-contained holiday let in a beautiful, peaceful and nature rich location less than 6 miles from Exeter city. Traditionally (but no longer) a dairy farm it has now taken a different direction with nearly one third of the farm in the process of rewilding - that equates to 90 acres of farmland surrounding the farmhouse being left for nature to take a hold. Set off the road and surrounded by fields, with ample parking and huge gardens Elbury Lodge guesthouse is a peaceful, characterful and spacious home offering shared accommodation with 3 bedrooms available to rent. Downstairs consists of an entrance hallway, shower room, kitchen / diner and lounge. From the lounge into a hallway you can access the garden and the bedrooms. Upstairs has the guest bedrooms, bathroom (with shower over bath) and separate W.C. The entire property is cleaned to a high standard twice a week and your bedroom will be made up with clean sheets and towels. There is also a laundry room onsite with washing and drying facilities for all guests. Fibre internet is accessible throughout the house. Elbury Lodge is peaceful and has been popular with working professionals looking for week day accommodation (long term week day accommodation can also be provided).
Elbury Farm is in a rural location so your own transport is essential for getting around. There is however, a pub within 20 minutes walking distance! Cranbrook Train Station: 2 miles Broadclyst: 2.5 miles Rockbeare Manor: 3 miles Exeter Airport: 3 miles Sowton Ind Est: 4 miles Exeter City: 6 miles Westpoint Centre: 7 miles Broadclyst offers two country pubs, an Indian restaurant and a Post Office whilst Cranbrook offers a Co-op, a cafe, a pub, a Chinese takeaway and a fish 'n' chip shop.
